The gas supplier can speak with a counterparty that understands the operating constraints of the molecule—not only the economics of the megawatt‑hour.

Chengdu Giant Stone 11.6 MW Distributed PV Power Station

Chengdu’s largest single‑unit distributed PV station located in Qingbaijiang District. Construction started Dec 2022, commissioned on Jul 20, 2026.

Total investment: RMB 50 million. 21,318 PV modules covering 60,000 ㎡, complete set of pre‑fabricated cabins, box‑type transformers and string inverters. Operates on self‑consumption, surplus‑to‑grid mode.

Limited solar resources in Sichuan Basin. Driven by dual‑carbon strategy and PV technology advancement, the plant supplies on‑site production, feeds surplus power to grid, cuts hydro & thermal power consumption, achieving cost‑saving and low‑carbon benefits.

The Chengdu MixC Gas Energy Station is equipped with four 1500 W gas-fired internal combustion engines, four supporting lithium bromide absorption chillers (with a cooling capacity of 1407 kW and a heating capacity of 1475 kW), and one 2.8 MW gas-fired vacuum boiler. This project generates 25.4 million kWh of electricity annually, accounting for 43% of MixC’s total electricity consumption; the waste heat provides 16.86 million kWh of cooling energy and 5.3923 million kWh of heating energy; the annual gas consumption amounts to 6.433 million Nm³.
